You may be thinking, "Money isn't everything." I totally agree. But for too many people, it's a huge issue, because their financial situation closes doors that would have led to opportunities. When children grow up having enough money, money ceases to be a source of stress. When they have enough money, they can do work that inspires, instead of what they have to do, to survive. When they have enough money, they can be creative, and generous. They can broaden their scope. They have a better chance at living a fulfilled and fulfilling life, not because they're "rich," but simply because money isn't an issue.

I took an advance copy of The Munny Journey to a baby shower, and the first thing all the guests "got" as they passed the book around was that if they'd pooled their resources and pitched in a little money toward an investment account for the child, instead of buying the toys, packages of Huggies, and cute little outfits that won't last two or three washings, they could have given him what his parents, grandparents and friends would all want for him and for all other children entering this world today: a secure financial future.
