Your number tells you how many times your money will grow when invested at an annual average interest rate of 9% until age 65. It demonstrates very clearly the advantage of time. Look at the chart to the right to find an approximate age, pick any amount of money, and multiply it by your number.
As an example, if you started with $100 at birth and multiply it by "your number" of 270 it would grow to $27,000. Add a zero by starting with $1000 at birth and you have $270,000! Add one more zero and $10,000 could grow to $2,700,000!
Start now and take advantage of the biggest number your child will ever have. Time really is money.
